How Long, How Polished, and What to Get with Your Wedding Photos
The funny thing about weddings is how fast they disappear.
Seriously, like, one minute you’re selecting outfits. Next minute, you’re on the dance floor and the night’s already halfway gone.
Almost like a snap of the finger, right? But what sticks with you is all the feelings and the photos that bring all those moments back.
As a photographer, I care so much about your wedding photos. Not about how they look, but how can I make them feel you when you’ll look back after the day’s over.
Waiting for Your Gallery
One of the most common questions I hear after the shoot is done is, "How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?"
I understand the curiosity couples have at that moment. So the short answer: usually around two to four weeks.
The wait obviously feels long, especially after such an emotional day, but there’s a reason for it. I go through every image that’s been captured carefully. Then I pick the ones that truly tell your story, like the photos that have the quiet moments, the loud ones, and the stuff you probably didn’t even notice happening.
I take my precious time with your photos, selecting moments that actually mean something instead of filling the gallery for the sake of it.
The Editing Style
Another thing couples ask is, "Will our wedding photos be edited?"
Yes, they will.
See, editing is part of the process, and a very important one. But it’s not like I’ll change who you are completely. What I do is:
I focus on clean colours
Natural skin tones
Look, that still feels like real life.
Because I want you to recognise yourselves instantly, there are no heavy effects, no over-the-top filters that I use. What you’ll see is just a polished version of the day as it actually happened.
The laughs stay real, the emotions stay raw, and the photos stay timeless.
What Makes It into the Final Collection?
When it comes to “what you’ll receive”, I aim for a balanced mix. You’ll see the classic moments, but also the in-between ones that usually matter more later on. That includes:
Natural couple portraits that don’t feel stiff.
Family photos that actually feel warm.
Small details you spent time choosing.
Candid moments you didn’t even know happened.
Those are the images people come back to years later.
Albums and Prints
And yes, if you “do you offer wedding albums or printed photo options?” I do!
Sure, digital galleries are great, but I believe that holding an album or seeing a photo framed at home hits totally differently. I offer high-quality albums and prints that are made to last, so your photos don’t just live on a screen.
Ending Note??
Wedding photography is really about trust. Trusting how things unfold and trusting the person capturing it all. I focus on creating photos that feel true to your day, every time you see them.
If this sounds right for you, I’m always happy to chat.
