The Storytelling Power of Unposed Wedding Photography
Some Things Can’t Be Planned—And That’s the Point
I’ve never been the kind of photographer who asks you to stand in a line and smile on command. It is definitely not how I work because that is not how real connection shows up.
Weddings are layered and full of little in-between moments that no one writes into a schedule. For instance, the way the bride’s loved ones (Dad & Mom) look at the bride emotionally mid-ceremony, or that quiet breath she takes just before walking down the aisle. I don’t believe in interfering with that, but I’d rather just watch (and wait) before making a click, because those are the frames that end up meaning the most.
As a candid wedding photographer in London, I’m not chasing picture-perfect but rather after the real stuff—the emotion, the movement, the way it felt to be there.
I Stay Close, But Never In the Way
My approach is simple—let things unfold naturally, no directing, no fuss, just a camera (okay, sometimes two) and a lot of attention to detail.
This style, known as reportage wedding photography, lets you stay present, which is exactly where you should be. I move with the rhythm of the day — quiet in the chaos, ready when something honest shows up.
And honestly, that’s where the good stuff lives. The dance floor blurs, the wind in the veil, and that last hug before everybody disappears into the night. That’s the story I capture at weddings.
The Energy of the Day Matters
Every wedding has its own rhythm—some slow and quiet, others wild and full of movement. I pay attention to that. I’m not just capturing people, but energy, atmosphere, and connection. That’s what makes each gallery feel personal; it’s a reflection of the big day, exactly as it unfolded.
It’s Your Day—I’m Just Here to Listen
As one of the best wedding photographers in London, it is my responsibility to capture the emotions of the day. Hence, I do not take lightly the vibe and emotional feel of the big day. I care a lot about your comfort, about your trust, and about giving you photos that feel like you, not some version of you created for the camera.
If that’s the kind of experience you’re looking for—something honest, a little messy, but completely yours—I’d love to capture your story.
